BEFORE COMING TO YOUR LASH APPOINTMENT
Clean face - Come to your appointment with a clean face (no moisturizer/makeup: eye and face) and this will ensure more time for adding lashes and less time removing eye makeup.
Shower prior to your appointment - Eliminating any unnecessary contact with water or steam within the first 24 hours of having lash extensions will insure that the bond between the semi permanent lashes and your natural lashes can properly set.
Avoid Caffeine - Do not drink too much coffee before your appointment, you want to be comfortable and at peace during the procedure.
Do not wear eye makeup. Makeup close to the eye area must be removed prior to the application process. Use a mild, oil-free cleanser. Do not use oil-based makeup removers.
Do not apply face creams or sunblock in the eye area. The oil found in many moisturizers prevents eyelash adhesive from bonding to the natural eyelash and reduces the longevity of your eyelash extensions.
Do not put on mascara. Removing mascara can be very time-consuming and any residual makeup will prevent proper application of the extensions. If you use waterproof mascara, avoid using it 2-3 days before your appointment.
Do not curl your lashes before your appointment. Extensions will not adhere to crimped eyelashes.
If you currently wear contact lenses and must wear them to drive to your appointment. Please be aware that the lenses must be removed to avoid any discomfort and to allow your eyes to be comfortable in a natural and rested state during your application. Bring glasses to use after the appointment if necessary.
LASH AFTERCARE
Please follow these guidelines to help keep your eyelash extensions looking beautiful.
Be gentle with your new lashes, refrain from touching or rubbing them. The golden rule is: look but don’t touch.
Avoid swimming, steam rooms, saunas, or extreme heat for 48 hours after application.
Do not use an eyelash curler on the lash extensions or try to perm or tint them. This will break the bond on the extensions and might damage your natural lashes.
Do not use oil-based products (oil-based eye makeup, makeup remover, moisturizer, cleanser, sunscreen) on or near your lashes.
Use products of non-oily, non-creamy formulas to remove eye makeup. Oil-based makeup products will dissolve the adhesive on the eyelash extensions and will cause your extensions to fall out sooner than expected.
Avoid rubbing your eyes roughly when cleaning your face and avoid running water directly on your lashes.
Avoid sleeping face down to prevent pressing against your eyelashes.
Be very careful when removing makeup in the eye area. Gently go over the eye area, sweep up and away from the lash extensions.
Using mascara on eyelash extensions is not recommended. If you must wear mascara, only use water based mascara.
Keep an eyelash comb handy to straighten out any loose, stray lashes. Comb them carefully and very gently only when needed.
Do not pull on any loose extensions or you risk plucking out your natural eyelashes. Do not attempt to remove the lash extensions yourself; allow the extensions to fall off naturally or schedule an appointment to have them professionally removed.
Maintain your lash extensions with regular touch-up appointments every 2-3 weeks, please schedule in advance as availability can be limited.
LASH LIFT AFTERCARE
The great thing about a Lash Lift is that it is a very low maintenance procedure however, there is a little extra care required over the first 24-48hrs.
Be gentle with your lashes; no rubbing.
Do not get your lashes wet for the first 24 hrs.
Do not use harsh products on your eyes/lashes.
Use of Sauna/Steam is possible after 24hrs but may weaken the effect of the lift.
No eye make up for 24 hours.
Avoid waterproof mascara’s.
Swimming should be avoided for at least 24hrs.

Do not apply makeup or mascara to lashes or receive any other eye treatments for at least 24 hours after the lash or brow tinting treatment.

Topical Anesthetic Advice
Allergic reaction can occur from any anesthetics used during the procedure. If you do suffer from an allergic reaction, you should contact your doctor immediately. Allergic reaction response may show through redness, swelling, rash, blistering, dryness or any other symptoms associated with an allergic reaction.
Numbness – We cannot accept responsibility if the area to be treated does not respond to the numbing cream. Each individual is different according to skin type. Some clients report the area to be completely numb, while others may experience some discomfort.
Procedure – For the permanent makeup procedure, a numbing cream/gel is used. The products are formulated to be perfectly safe and can be purchased over the counter from any pharmacy/chemist. The anesthetic is placed over the treatment area for 20-30 minutes then carefully removed prior to treatment. As a result of the treatment, combined with the use of the anesthetic, you can expect to experience some redness/swelling that can last 1-4 days. You should always follow your post-procedure advice and aftercare for the best results.

Please follow these instructions for 10-14 days after the procedure to improve and prolong the results of Everlasting Brows. If you don’t follow these instructions, it can greatly affect your permanent makeup results!
A liquid barrier has been applied that will stay on and protect your brows. Avoid getting anything on the brows, including water, except for cleansing as directed. You may blot for the first few hours with sterile gauze to remove any excess fluids, if necessary.
Cleansing: In 2-3 hours, wash lightly with slightly damp Q-tips and antibacterial soap (non-scented orange Dial pump soap is a great option). Repeat this very gently during days 1-4. When washing, it should be very gentle and with hardly any water and with a tapping motion, no rubbing. Do not attempt to remove the barrier film if it was applied. Allow it to come off naturally it is own time. Please avoid saturating brows with water. After the initial 3 days of washing, you may very sparingly apply balm to hydrate your brow area for dryness relief. Do not pick or rub the brows. The flakes must fall off on their own or you will risk removing the color and possibly scarring.
Do not soak the treated area in the bath, pool or hot tub. For 30 days, refrain from swimming in salt water or chlorinated pools, saunas, hot yoga, steam rooms or sun beds.
No exercise for 14 days. After 14 days – when exercising, wear a sweatband to avoid sweat on brow area.
Do not expose treated area to direct sunlight. After healed (30 days), use a sunscreen to avoid fading from the sun.
No makeup should be applied directly on the brows during the healing process.
Do not touch, rub, pick or scratch your brows following treatment or during healing process.
